Carlos Cuéllar has a new challenge. After a year and a half at UD San Sebastián de los Reyes, a club he recently left, he will coach Real Murcia Imperial for the 2023/24 season. In this way, the Madrid-born player will make his debut as head coach of the second team of Real Murcia CF, a historic club in Spanish football.
¡Con muchas ganas de empezar este nuevo proyecto que tanto me ilusiona en un club histórico como es el @realmurciacfsad ! 😍 https://t.co/MPGJIrDwLE

In the structure of UD Sanse, he has played several roles, both in specific positions in the youth teams and in the coordination of the youth academy. This has favoured an apprenticeship in different areas that he will now try to apply in Real Murcia Imperial, one of the members of Group 13 of the Third Federation (Grupo 13, Tercera Federación).
Since the end of his reputed career in the football elite in 2019, after more than 500 games as a professional, Carlos decided to focus his time and effort towards a future in the benches. He passed the necessary coaching courses - through the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF)- and it was clear to him that he wanted to start his career at grassroots level. His work at UD Sanse has allowed him to have this opportunity in Murcia.
