Osasuna are once again in a position to play in a Copa del Rey final. The Navarrese side were runners-up in the 2004/05 edition and, in this 2023 edition, they are just one step away from playing in the title match once again.
Carlos Cuéllar was part of that historic squad that lost in extra time against Betis. Almost 18 years later, he went from the pitch to the TV set to analyse the eagerly awaited semi-final against Athletic Club.

In front of the Movistar Plus+ cameras (#Vamos) and in the company of Rafa Alkorta, another ex-footballer with a great career, and the journalist Guillermo Uzquiano, Carlos gave his vision of the match played at El Sadar on Wednesday. He highlighted the historic nature of the match, and the added bonus of facing Athletic (due to the sporting rivalry between the two clubs).
Ez Abde, with a great action, scored the 1-0 that ended the match. Everything will be decided on 4 April, in the second leg at San Mamés.
