After a really difficult season with so many problems and complications, we´re facing the last part of the league from a save position, after a hurry though. We´re out of danger as our coach is and I wish him the best and a prompt recovery after leaving the Hospital. The doctors said to the club he was in a good condition and that he´ll be back soon but not until next year.

Now we´re save we have to keep winning games for the supporters, they´ve been the best so far this season, they never let us down after all problems we had, so it´s a way of showing gratitude to them. For myself I´d like to score at least a goal by the end of this season, would be great. I didn´t score my first year and I won´t like to repeat it.

I´m in a good form, I train hard every day and I hope I have a chance to play on these final games. The truth is I´ve been doing really well last month probably the presence of my family and friends have helped me. To mention the visit of my friend and physiotherapist José Villariño and finally I´ve met my little nephew Hugo. My sister my nice and my brother in law are coming next week.

Furthermore, a few Eva´s friends came around too. The Spanish colony at Birmingham is growing!! We were twelve of us the other day watching the semi-final we were shown even in Marca. Really good ambient although a bit of rivalry between Barsa and Madrid fans…

I watched the Arsenal vs Manchester last week end. It is funny though because the local team normally makes few individual mistakes but playing without pressure gives them wings and they take advantage of it. Manchester seemed a bit tired but I think its normal after the effort they´ve done to get to the Champions League Final. We’ll see how they finish the league, Chelsea could be the option due to ManU tiredness.

We´re having a really sweet weather round here, bit unusual though we´re like in summer time Sunny days and 20 degree but windy… Maybe that was the reason we didn´t lose those four games and we got into saver positions.

Well the weather and Spanish music. The places we go in the pre-game days I have cheered my team mates up with my “ Los Chichos” musical collection; Gabby Agbonlahor, Stiliyan Petrov, Emile Heskey, Fabian Delph…. They´re all delighted and brought good luck to the strikers. There´s nothing like see them singing in Spanish… Top class!!

PS: Apparently AVFC has sent a shirt signed for all of us to the Prince of Wales. I hope William enjoys it, By the way maybe He used it for sleeping that night… just joking.
