Bnei Yehuda got an excellent result in the first game of the play-off for the title of the Premier League of Israel. A double by Sylvestr (minutes 24 and 45) gave the victory to Cuéllar´s team against Maccabi Haifa, in a match played at the Sammy Ofer Stadium (and in which the referee had the assistance of the VAR). The 0-2 against the second on the table at the end of the regular season means a very important boost in Yehuda´s target in this play-off: to qualify for European competition (the first three places give access and there is a possibility the fourth also would be in).

Carlos played the 90 minutes and helped to maintain unbeaten Bnei's goal. These three points leave the Tel Aviv side with 40 points, in fourth position (although with one game in hand than the fifth one, Hapoel Be'er Sheva). The play-off is disputed by the first six classified of the regular season, and consists of ten days (each team faces twice the other five).
The next appointment for Bnei Yehuda will be after the international break. On 30 March, they will host Maccabi Netanya.
