Almería conceed two points at the end

UD Almería added a point against Tenerife (2-2). The Andalusian team conceeded the 2-2 on the last moment in a match in which they came back after a goal from the team from Canary Islands on the first half. A missunderstanding in Almería's box left the team with only one point. Carlos Cuéllar, having passed his problems with his right knee, was a starter and played the whole 90 minutes.

Sergi wanted to play with a defence of 5 in order to win the match starting from a solid defence. At the back, Cuéllar was covered by Fran Vélez and Morcillo, with Dubarbier as a leftback and Michel Macedo as backrigft. The plan soon encountered a reply from Tenerife. On the 21st, Nano scored for the visitors. Without anything to lose, Sergi got Dubarbier out for Quique González. They had to risk. Just after the second half initial whistle, Cuéllar shot and the ball impacted on Chuli. An occasion that was the prelude of Almería's first minutes. As a consequence, Macedo on the 58 and Chuli on the 66, turned the score over. The 2-1 remained until Lolo Reyes, in an unfortunate action on the 90', put the ball in his own goal after a rejection.

After the last defeats, Almería have to appreciate the point, although the final sensation was bitter. Carlos Cuéllar ended up the match without any injuries. His participation confirms him as one of the pillars of a team that won't be leaded by Sergi anymore. This last draw has meant the dismissal of the Catalan coach.
