Carlos Cuéllar became the coach of Real Murcia Imperial at the end of June. Months after his arrival in the structure of the historic club, he was interviewed by Victorio de Haro on 'Onda Deportiva Murcia' (Onda Cero).
In the conversation, Carlos highlights the emotional connection he has with the Pimentonero club: "I have a special bond, because I made my debut in LaLiga at El Sadar with Osasuna against Real Murcia." The balance of these months is quite satisfactory for the Madrid coach: "We knew it was going to be a tough start, that we had two or three tough bones, but I think we have solved it quite well. The team is in a growth process."
The initial idea was for him to coach Real Murcia's Juvenil team, but a change in the sports area ended with Cuéllar in the second team of the Grana institution. During the interview he showed the ambition with which his players are competing, highlighted the potential of the project that the club is developing and recalled a match in which he faced Gustavo Munúa (now the first team coach) in the Second Division. A category to which he hopes to return in a few years with Real Murcia: "It would be a good sign because it would mean that we have all gone hand in hand."
