A protagonist of Rangers' European semi-final in 2008

Rangers FC have qualified for the Europa League semi-finals 14 years after their last appearance in the penultimate round of continental competition. In 2008 the rival was Fiorentina, in the tournament then known as the UEFA Cup.

The 'Rangers News' website recalled the duel with the Italian team, which ended with the Glasgow team going to the final. In his article he highlighted the level that Carlos Cuéllar had during that season.
