Todo se ve de otra manera / Everything seems the other way

Con una victoria en el bolsillo y después de haber jugado como titular, todo se ve de otra manera. Lo cierto es que tras unas semanas complicadas por la lesión de tobillo, ahora estoy muy contento y me encuentro a tope. Ayudar a conseguir los tres puntos en el derbi frente al Newcastle ha hecho que todo haya vuelto a ser casi perfecto.

Después de los últimos cambios en el club, el nuevo mister ha caído muy bien en el vestuario y la plantilla está reaccionando, dando imagen de equipo fuerte. Es cierto que ganar en la última jornada fue algo muy importante después de la mala racha que habíamos atravesado, pero no hay que olvidar que toca seguir trabajando, ganar sólo un partido no asegura la salvación.

Respecto a mi actuación personal en Newcastle, lo cierto es que tenía muchas ganas de volver al césped y sólo lamento que no me entrara el cabezazo que sacó Krul casi en la línea. Habría sido una gran experiencia el hecho de poder celebrar un gol en un día tan importante para nuestros aficionados, pero creo que me tendré que guardar la experiencia para las próximas fechas. En cuanto al cambio, no hay nada de qué preocuparse, ya que fue sólo por precaución debido al tiempo que había estado fuera del equipo. Espero estar disponible contra el Everton sin problema.

En este buen momento que nos ha dado la victoria de la última jornada, no me puedo olvidar de dar las gracias a la afición por su apoyo, estamos orgullosos de ellos y después de que nos animaran en una etapa tan complicada, ya era hora de que les compensaramos con un buen partido. Estamos seguros de que sin ellos no será posible la salvación.

Ante una semana de derbi como fue la pasada, había notado en las redes sociales la importancia del encuentro ante el Newcastle. Muchos me mandastéis mensajes de ánimo y eso siempre ayuda para saber la responsabilidad que siempre tenemos en el terreno de juego.

Ahora toca pensar en el Everton. Será un partido difícil porque no hay que olvidar que ellos están peleando por meterse en Liga de Campeones, pero debemos aprovechar que nuestra moral es alta en estos momentos para seguir sumando.

La nota triste de la semana fue el atentado en Boston. Un fin de semana alegre se empañó por lo sucedido. Uno no entiende cómo pueden suceder este tipo de cosas y me gustaría mandar todo mi ánimo y condolencias a las familias afectadas. Todos los días ocurren cosas así por todo el mundo y no le damos la importnacia que merecen, ojalá llegue un momento en el que no sucedan tragedias así.

Con todo esto, sólo me queda dar las gracias por todo el ánimo recibido en el tiempo que he estado fuera y prometer que seguiremos trabajando para conseguir la salvación y llevar al equipo a donde merece estar.

With a victory in my pocket and just after playing as a starting player, everything seems the other way. The truth is that after a couple of complicated weeks with an ankle injury, now I’m very happy and I feel great. Helping to get the three points against Newcastle in the Derby has made everything look perfect again.

After the last changes in the club, the new Mister is fitting well and the squad has reacted, giving a solid team impression. It is true that winning on the last game-week is something important after the bad results we had made, but we mustn’t forget that we have to keep on working, as winning a single match does not give us the salvation.

Regarding my personal performance against Newcastle, the truth is I was eager to return to the football pitch and I only regret Krul’s parry over my header just in the line. It’d have been a great experience to score a goal in such an important day for our fans, but I think I must save that experience for next matches. Regarding my sub, we mustn’t worry because it was only a precaution after spending so much time out of the team. I wish I can be completely fit for when we meet Everton.

In this great moment in which we have won the last match, I can’t forget thanking the fans for their support, we are proud of them and after cheering us up in such a complicated stage, it was time for us to compensate with a good match. We are absolutely certain that without them we can’t acquire salvation.

In the face of last’s week derby, I had noted in social networks that the match against Newcastle was quite important. Many of you sent me encouragement messages and that always helps to know the responsibility we have in every single match.

Now we must think of Everton. It will be a difficult match as we mustn’t forget that they are playing to get into the Champs League positions, but we must take advantage of the great moment in which we are right now and keep on adding points.

The week’s bad news was Boston’s terror attack. A happy weekend was blackened by what happened. One does not understand why these kind of things should happen and I like to give my condolences to all affected families. Things like that happen every single day and we don’t give them the importance they deserve, I wish there was a time in which these things wouldn’t happen.

With all this, I can only thank you all for the love you have given me in all this time I’ve been away and I promise that we will keep on fighting to not be relegated and to take the team where it deserves.
