Ha empezado lo bueno… y tengo envidia sana / Everything´s started… So hamrlessly-jealous
Tras varias semanas trabajando, cada vez se me más cerca el final del camino de la recuperación de mi rodilla. Al margen de que las sensaciones sean buenas y ya lleve una semana de carerra continua, creo que ayuda ver que ya está todo en marcha: la Premier, la Champions…
Lo cierto es que la rodilla no me da ningún problema y estoy con muchas ganas. Las sesiones de entrenamiento son largas, llego a nuestra ciudad deportiva a las 9 y salgo para casa a las 16, pero estos entrenamientos son más fáciles que en junio. Ya hay competición y aunque no pueda jugar por ahora, pude disfrutar de nuestro estreno ante el Fulham por la televisión… con un poco de envidia sana.
Sacamos un punto a domicilio, ante un rival que está bastante más rodado ya que ha jugado partidos de rondas previas de Europa League. Vi a un equipo sólido, que va cogiendo ritmo de competición y eso a pesar de que era el primer día de un nuevo proyecto con un nuevo míster. No encajamos goles y sacamos un punto bastante bueno. Veo a todos los compañeros ilusionados y contentos, así me lo cuentan cuando entrenamos y fuera del césped. Se vuelve a respirar buen ambiente y el equipo está emocionado en este curso con el nuevo entrenador. Ahora, esperemos que seamos capaces de ilusionar a la afición, meses después de que cerrasemos una gris campaña con un buen triunfo ante el Liverpool.
El sábado debutamos en casa contra el Blackburn, que perdió en la primera jornada ante los Wolves, y un triunfo haría aún mejor el punto conseguido el domingo. Ellos han estado esta semana muy pendientes de lo que decidía Raúl desde Alemania, por lo que quizá eso nos pueda ayudar. Eso sí, recuperan varios jugadores respecto al primer día, como Samba. Siempre me han gustado los partidos contra el Blackburn. Suelen ser duros, abiertos y espectaculares. Aún tengo en mente las semifinales de la Carling, cuando ganamos 6-4 y pasamos a la final. Seguramente será un partido digno de ver para cualquier aficionado.
En la primera jornada aquí en Inglaterra disfrutaron del estreno de un viejo conocido de la Liga española, Kun Agüero, al que le doy la bienvenida. Hizo un partido en sólo media hora y respondió a las altas expectativas creadas por su fichaje. Veremos qué tal le va, pero creo que puede ser el jugador de la Liga si se asocia bien con Silva…

The recovery is getting closer after a few weeks of hard work. A part from felling better day by day and a week running; Helps to know that everything has started: The Premier, the Champions… The truth is the knee is ok and I am ready. We are having long training sessions, I´m arriving to the training pitch at 9 am and leaving at 16 pm although these sessions are easy to handle in June. The competition has started and although I can´t play yet I watched the game at Fulham on telly… so harmlessly-jealous.
We got a point away against a team, physically better due to the Europe League rounds. I saw a solid team getting the right pace for the competition despite being the beginning of a new project and a new manager. We made a clean sheet and we got a well worthy point. I see my team mates very excited and happy, they tell me in and out the pitch. There is a good felling again and the team is enjoying this course with the new manager. So I hope we can thrill the supporters’ hopes months after a winning to Liverpool in a discreet season.
We play at home this Saturday against Blackburn, they lost the first game to Wolves. So a win would make better they point we won last week. They have been paying attention to what Raul had to say from Germany, so maybe it will help. Although they are getting people back from injury like Samba. I have always liked to play against Blackburn, these games are normally tough, spectacular and open, I still remember the Carling Cup Semi-finals, we got in the final after winning 6-4…a game to watch for any supporter.
I´d like to welcome a well known La Liga player, Kun Agüero, who made enjoy City fans on his debut. He played really well, scored twice and set up another one. See how he gets on but I´m sure he can be the Player of the Year if he stays close to Silva…

Que bien noticias, la mayoria de afficionados se sienten much mas confortable con ti en la cancha que con Richard. Pero todo lo mejor en su recuperacion.

Carlos I have always thought you were an amazing defender, professional as hell and a quiet player who does his talking on the pitch, when I heard you might be headed back to rangers my heart sunk! We love you at villa and while I do recognise that you would prefer more first team chances, I believe the manager would be very silly to let you leave, it just so happens Richard and James have started well, if either were to lose form I think you would grip the chance with both hands and make a central berth your own!
Carlos, please stay! But if you do go we will wish you well 😉

Ir hasta Londres a ver el Fulham-Aston Villa y que no juegue Carlos Cuéllar fue una lástima. El Aston Villa no está aún del todo rodado, pero es un muy buen equipo. Me encantó Delph, muy organizador y con mucho futuro.
