La afición disfrutó con el triunfo en el derbi / The fans enjoyed the win in the derby

Se nota por la calle a los villanos mas contentos. El triunfo en Premier ante los Wolves les ha permitido esta semana tener mejor humor y ganas para bromear con sus amigos o compañeros. Veremos si ante el Birmiminghan City o West Bromwich Albion podemos vencer como el domingo, que vino muy bien para la moral del equipo.

La verdad que yo acabé muy contento en mi primer dia como titular en esta Liga. Venía de jugar en la victoria contra el Blackburn en Carling y aún me sentí mas cómodo jugando en el centro de la defensa. Disfruté mucho, estuve a gusto y creo que nos complementamos bien James Collins y yo en el centro. No habíamos jugado muchas veces como pareja de centrales, pero si yo como lateral y él de central derecho. Eso nos ayudó mucho.

Ahora hay que tratar de mantener esta pequeña racha que tenemos desde que llegó Houllier en White Hart Lane el sábado. Es un campo muy complicado siempre y además el Tottenham ahora llegará con la moral muy alta por el triunfo en Champions. Sería muy bueno ganar, o al menos no perder, porque es un rival en la lucha por el cuarto puesto y nos dejaría en una buena posición para trabajar durante el pequeño parón la visita del Chelsea. Mucho bien, que dirían mis amigas de Calahorra!

You can notice the villans are happier. The win over Wolves made them be in a better mood and make jokes with their friends. We’ll see if against Birmingham City or West Bromwich we can get a win like on last Sunday which is good for the team’s morale.

To be honest I was really happy with my first start of the season in the League. I played against Blackburn in the Carling Cup and felt great playing in the centre of defence and I got on very well playing alongside Collins. We haven’t played that much together as a centre backs but we did play together in defence before which helped us.

Now we have to try to keep this momentum since Houllier arrived, on Saturday at White Hart Lane. It’s a difficult place to go and Tottenham is in great form after their win in The Champions. It would be great a win or at least not to lose because they are also fighting for the fourth position and would leave us time to get ready for the Chelsea visit.
