Esto no se nos escapa / The Victory can’t get away

Vaya partido. Ante el rival más complicado y en semifinales, se pudo ver el juego y el equipo que todos queríamos ver. Desde el primer minuto fue la España que esperábamos, manejando el control del balón sin pasar prácticamente apuros. Dominadores del encuentro y dueños del juego todo el tiempo, fueron llegando las ocasiones.

Hay que decir que la forma de juego de Alemania nos favoreció. A ello hay que añadirle también la entrada de Pedro en el once inicial, que dio verticalidad y movimiento arriba, favoreciendo que se crearan muchos más espacios.

Además, Del Bosque acertó plenamente en los cambios, que también dieron velocidad arriba y permitieron que llegaran algunas ocasiones que se podían haber aprovechado para que el final hubiera sido menos apretando.

Pese a ello, quitando los últimos 10 minutos, en los que era normal que Alemania apretara con balones largos, España supo defender su ventaja. Me gustaría destacar la labor defensiva de Busquets, el partidazo de Pedrito y, en general, el rendimiento y el esfuerzo de todo el equipo.

Seguimos soñando y creo que ante Holanda podemos disfrutar de un partido muy parecido. Jugando así, veo a España campeona. Ya cuento las horas para verlo con la colonia española de Birmingham, como he hecho con Alemania.

It has to be said, Germany way of play helped us and the presence of Pedro in the starting XI gave to the Spanish side more depth in attack and opened spaces in defence.

Besides, Del Bosque got right the changes again, giving the team a fresh spark up front causing some of the chances we couldn’t materialize, we should so the end of the match wouldn’t have been that tight.

Even though, in the last ten minutes in which Germany played long balls trying to reach the Spanish goal, Spain was well organize in defence. I’d like to emphasize Busquets labour in defence and Pedrito who played an excellent game; And to the effort done from all the team.
We are still dreaming and I believe against Holland we can enjoy a similar game. Playing like this, I think Spain is going to win. I can’t wait to watch the match with the Spanish colony in Birmingham as I did against Germany.
