Carlos Cuéllar Speaks to the Media After Reaching the Final for Promotion to Segunda Federación. Real Murcia Imperial CF reaches the final after eliminating Cieza in extra time. The Madrid-born coach began by giving a general assessment of the match:
“During the first 90 minutes, we played quite well; of all the playoff matches we’ve played, I think this was the first one where we really saw the true Imperial in terms of ball possession, play, and chances. The last minutes of regular time were an onslaught from our side, just as we had to endure Cieza’s siege at the end of extra time.”
When asked about the significance of reaching the final: “Given the tightness of the playoffs, finishing second in the league has been crucial because it allowed us to be here celebrating our place in the final. Now, we must continue fighting for the goal, which is none other than promotion.”
