Aston Villa to keep the impressive record at the stadium of Light

On october 2010

Aston Villa will try  this Saturday to lean out to European places (3 p.m. ko) at Sunderland. A draw to Chelsea last week boosted the Villans morale so they will go for a win that would bring them close to the top places on the table.

Houllier´s side also arrives to a favourable stadium because since 2002 they haven’t lost a league game at the Stadium of light. In fact, from the last four visits the Birmingham side has got 10 points. However they haven’t won away yet this season and they shouldn’t entrust themselves against a rival who has Bent as the most dangerous player and they haven’t lost at home in 14 games. Precisely Aston Villa was the last team to win there 0-2 on 16th Dec 2009 having Heskey and Milner as goal-scorers.

Now Villa will try to keep the attitude from last week at Stamford Bridge and win 3 points against a turn-up team. Houllier gets back for the team Heskey, Albrighton and Dunne, recovered from his ankle injury. On the other hand he loses  Agbonlahor, Delph, Weimann and Luke Young, all of them injured.
