Carlos Cuéllar, Head Coach of Real Murcia Imperial CF (the reserve team of Real Murcia), currently competing in Group XIII of the Tercera Federación, earned his ‘UEFA PRO Football Coaching License’ last season after successfully completing the course delivered by the National Coaching School of the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

He describes the experience as “very positive,” “extremely demandinSansend essential—despite having accumulated over 20 years as a professional footballer. With a playing career that includes spells at CD Calahorra, CD Numancia, CA Osasuna, Glasgow Rangers FC, Aston Villa FC, Sunderland AFC, Norwich City FC, and UD Almería, before moving on to feature for several clubs in Israel—such as Maccabi Petah Tikva, Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona, Beitar Jerusalem FC, and Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv.

Carlos is now focused on developing himself as a coach with the ambition of one day managing at the professional level. After nearly a year and a half working within the youth setup of UD Sanse, he signed with Real Murcia to take charge of their B team, leading them to a play-off position for promotion to the Segunda Federación—an achievement that earned him a contract renewal with the club.
