Cuéllar, commentator on LaLigaTV and DAZN

Carlos Cuéllar lived a very special football weekend. Used to be in the game for two decades now sees the professional sport off the pitch. His particular vision of the game makes him an authorized voice to comment on the different competitions in which he has participated throughout his career. Carlos is being trained to be a coach and his experience makes him an interesting analyst for the media, as has been proved this past weekend.

So on Friday, he premiered as a commentator on the international channel of LaLigaTV. In addition to the first match of game-week 26 in the Spanish competition, Real Sociedad-Real Valladolid, in the studio he analyzed the match-day, especially Sunday´s El Clásico between Real Madrid and Barcelona, along with a charismatic English player like Terry Gibson (former Tottenham, Manchester United, Coventry player and who was an assistant manager with Northern Ireland) and journalists Semra Hunter and Graham Hunter.

On Sunday Carlos Cuéllar was the pundit chosen by DAZN for the Carabao Cup final between Aston Villa, one of the teams Carlos played in his spell in the Premier League, and Manchester City, the dominating team of the tournament in recent years, at the fabulous Wembley.

Curiously was the 10 years mark since Carlos started that final of the League Cup, then called Carling Cup, where the villains faced the other Manchester team, United.

Carlos analysed tactical aspects of the game as well as telling anecdotes with journalists Nacho González and Jesús López on global streaming services and on-demand sports streaming service throughout the match, which, as in 2010, ended with the defeat of the Birmingham side by 1 -2.
