Bnei Yehuda, with Carlos Cuéllar in the starting XI, set their sights on the semifinals of the State Cup of Israel. The victory 0-2 in their visit to Hapoel Afula in the first leg of the quarterfinals is an excellent result thinking of qualilfying amongst the top four of the competition.
Yehuda found it difficult to open the score, as they couldn't break the deadlock until the minute 59, when Konstantini made the 0-1. Dor Jan, in the 86 minute, scored the second. Carlos played the full game and at a great level of performance.

On the 26 February, the second leg will be played. Last year, playing for Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona, Cuéllar reached the semifinals of the tournament. In addition, Bnei Yehuda knows the way to conquer the Israeli Cup. They managed to win the trophy in the 2016/17 season.
Back to the League, next Sunday, Yehuda will play against Hapoel Hadera. They will seek the victory to try to reach the second place on the table.
