Cuéllar played his second pre-season game with Beitar Jerusalem in Hungary. After winning to the historic Honvéd last Saturday 0-1, Carlos and his team-mates drew 2-2 against Aqvital FC. An important game to get in shape thinking of the first official match of the season in the Europa League.
The Madrid born centre-back, as he did on Saturday, was in the starting XI. Carlos is taking these days as an opportunity to settle in the team and show what is capable of and be the protagonist in the start to the season that begins in a few days.
This week, Beitar will play another friendly in the magiar country. It will be the last test before facing the Georgian side Chikhura, in the first leg of the first qualifying round of the Europa League on the 12 July. To be able to compete in the continental tournament is one of the big challenges for Cuéllar this season.
