Carlos Cuéllar played his last match for Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona against Ashdod. The defender from Madrid participated in the 1-2 win (goals from Barda -own goal- and Davidov, during the first time). The three points confirm Kiryat Shmona's 7th position in the table. After the duel, the defender published a Spanish and English farewell letter on his social networks.

Carlos has left his footprint in the team from the north of Israel, with a great performance this season. He has played 41 matches, a number worth mentioning. He has only missed 3 matches, two in League and one in Toto Cup. Those 41 games are 31 from the League, 5 Toto Cup and 5 Israel Cup games. He has only beaten his record of 40 matches twice throughout his career (2007-08 season and 2009-10).
The two cup tournaments have been the best scenary for Cuéllar at Hapoel Ironi. He contributed a lot for his team to reach the semifinals in both competitions. Carlos, very near from reaching 37, wants to keep on playing football and improve his career. We will soon know where he will move to.
