The centreback from Madrid says goodbye after a successful and large trajectory that has taken him to play several competitions in many countries and clubs. After more than 500 matches since his debut, Carlos ends a stage and begins another. His next aim according to his own words are: "I'm going to pass the Coach training exam, learn as much as possible and enjoy football from another perspective. I want to transmit everything I've learned from great coaches and make those things real applying them on the pitch".
