Contento, no me afecta la crisis de los 30 / Not bother for the thirty´s ‘midlife crisis’…

Ya estoy de vuelta, una vez he superado la crisis de los 30. Me ha costado un mes, pero lo he hecho… En serio, quería dar las gracias por todos los mensajes recibidos. Me alegran mucho. Igual que los de ánimo que me habéis ido dando mientras he estado lesionado. Puedo deciros que la luz al final del túnel está muy cerquita. Estoy tocando ya con los dedos entrenarme con el resto como uno más para ponerme a pelear por un puesto. Por desgracia, como ahora estoy haciendo una mini-pretemporada a medida, tuve una pequeña contractura en el gemelo que me hizo parar un poquito. Es normal, otros veranos también tuve sobrecargas y contracturas al volver, por lo que si todo sigue como hasta ahora y las sensaciones se mantienen igual de buenas, la próxima semana empezaré con todo el grupo.

En mi cumpleaños no hice nada especial, estuve en el estadio viendo al equipo, que por ahora está invicto en Premier. Una pena lo de la Carling. Mis compañeros están enchufados, el grupo es realmente fuerte en todas las líneas. Se nota un ambiente distinto al de la campaña pasada, hay mas confianza y eso ayuda. Yo estoy especialmente contento por Fabian Delph, ya que verle otra vez en el once tras todos los problemas físicos que ha sufrido en este año y pico me hace mucha ilusión. Nunca se vino abajo y siguió trabajando para volver, se lo merece. Está en buen momento, como Gabby, que nos ha dado puntos con sus goles.

Eso es por la música española que le obligo a oír. Todavía no le he insistido mucho con la musiquita a Shay Given, pero no le ha hecho falta. Es un tipo majisimo, muy amable, que ha llegado y lo está haciendo muy bien. Tengo ganas de volver y ponerme a jugar con todos ellos. Han sido mucho tiempo parado, currando seis o siete horas diarias. Tengo ganas de jugar otra vez y oír vuestro aliento desde el césped…

Here I am once again after get over “midlife crisis” at thirty. It took me a month, but it´s done… I´d like to thank everyone for all the supportive messages I´ve received. They cheer me up as the ones when I was injured. I can tell you I´m really close to be back.

I´m about to start training with the rest of the team and fight for a place in the squad but unfortunately as I am having my own “pre-season” I had a minor calf´s injury so I had to slow down a bit. It´s normal I have had muscle contracture before so if the progress goes well, as it is going, I´ll be back with the group next week.

I didn´t do anything special for me birthday, I went to the stadium to see the game. We are doing really well, we still unbeaten in Premier (what a pitty Carling Cup match against Bolton) and every player is focus and we have improved the performance in all the lines. I can see the squad confident and that really helps. I am especially happy for Fabian Delph, it is good to have him back after all the injuries he has been through. He never gave up he deserves it.

Another player on a good form is Gabby; he has earned a few points with his goals for the team. That must be the Spanish music he is listening to, I haven´t try yet with Shay Given but he didn´t need to, is a nice bloke and he is doing it great as well. I´m looking forward to be back in the team; It´s been hard, working 6 to 7 hours a day to be back and play and have your support from the stand…
